One day I decided to give the
snake bubble idea from Pinterest a try. I cut the bottles, cut an old towel, and grabbed some rubber bands. I thought Noah and Caleb would be able to assemble it themselves but they had trouble getting the rubber band around the towel and holding the bottle. I didn’t tell them what was going to happen so after we had everyone a snake maker. I borrowed one and showed them how it worked. They thought it was awesome. They were then making snake bubbles and we ran out of bubbles.
Thank goodness for Pinterest, I had a
bubble recipe pinned and pulled that up. I made more bubble solution and they were back to making snake bubbles.
After they got the hang of blowing the snake bubbles and seeing how could blow the longest snake, they started putting the bubbles on their heads. We had bubble mohawks, princess crowns, etc..
I used the bubble recipe with corn syrup so the bubbles were pretty sticky. No problem, just hose the kids down and let them air dry outside. Then the deck got a nice cleaning since the bubbles were also made with Dawn dish liquid.
The kids had fun and we need to have another bubble day!
