Football and Family

DSCN1813
When John and I went with our friends Darin and Laura to the A&M and Idaho game the kiddos got to hang out with Grandma and some of the aunts and uncles.  It’s always a fun time for everyone.  John and I got to spend a little time by ourselves, shopping (Aggie apparel of course), hanging out with friends, some of the College Station family- my brother, uncle, current Aggie Sister and her roommies.  Not sure how many more trips we will be able to take without the kids, since they are big fans as well.

That weekend the kids got to hang out with their Great Aunt Kate, Great Uncle Matt, and Baby Luke.  When the boys first met Luke he was a few weeks old and so Baby Luke worked, now not sure if we can continue to call him “baby” Luke much longer!  He is growing so fast!!

The Family

Also, my brother Sam and his girlfriend, Sarah played in the rain later that afternoon with everyone.  The boys told us all about getting wet.  I think everyone was excited about the rain that they just had to enjoy it!

Then when you just think that the adults would have no more energy for anything else, they pulled out a party!  Since Ian had just celebrated his 4th and the Grandma told him they would have a party when he came to visit.  With the help of Aunt Lauren’s party planning skills they had a pirate party!

As you can tell Saturday was a very full day for them.  This doesn’t even show the times they had to run on the treadmill and play Just Dance.  I believe my kids are part energizer bunny!  This was a marathon day that they enjoyed.  Sunday they were really sad to have to go back home.  It’s been over 2 weeks now and I still get “We go Grandma’s house?” daily from Eli.
