That weekend the kids got to hang out with their Great Aunt Kate, Great Uncle Matt, and Baby Luke. When the boys first met Luke he was a few weeks old and so Baby Luke worked, now not sure if we can continue to call him “baby” Luke much longer! He is growing so fast!!
New toys to play with and climb on!
Aunt Rachel, Uncle Ethan letting Eli stand on the fort (I wonder where Makaela gets it!)
Baby Luke and Makaela (love those chubby cheeks!)
Playing football
The Family
Also, my brother Sam and his girlfriend, Sarah played in the rain later that afternoon with everyone. The boys told us all about getting wet. I think everyone was excited about the rain that they just had to enjoy it!
Not sure there was any chances of a flood, but Sam and Sarah were ready
Rain, Rain,
We Love the RAIN!
Then when you just think that the adults would have no more energy for anything else, they pulled out a party! Since Ian had just celebrated his 4th and the Grandma told him they would have a party when he came to visit. With the help of Aunt Lauren’s party planning skills they had a pirate party!
Birthday Cake, Eye Patches and Tattoos!
The birthday boy and his big brother playing with one of the birthday gifts
Ian the Ninja playing Ants in the Pants with Caleb and Eli; Makaela and Aunt Rachel
Makaela wishing the pirate Aunt Bridgette would let her go to sleep! Aunt Lauren trying to help.
As you can tell Saturday was a very full day for them. This doesn’t even show the times they had to run on the treadmill and play Just Dance. I believe my kids are part energizer bunny! This was a marathon day that they enjoyed. Sunday they were really sad to have to go back home. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I still get “We go Grandma’s house?” daily from Eli.
