We made it there in good time and had thought about heading over to A&M before my uncle’s. Then Uncle Ernest came up with the idea to go to Traditions for swimming and dinner. Of course, we went to his house and planned on visiting A&M Friday morning. Bella and Maddox, my cousin, Cassie’s kids were there. So, the kids got to enjoy some cousin time.
They took a ride on the paddle boat.

Then got ready for swimming.
The water was a little chilly, so I sat and watched everyone else. The kids loved it despite the cold. They didn’t get to swim long, but we told them it was a warm up for the weekend. There was lots of swimming to come!
Then back at Uncle Ernest’s we had a movie night on his huge couch. This picture was taken before everyone was finished with showers after swimming. By the end of the night we had myself, John, Uncle Ernest, my dad, Rachel, Ethan, Bella, Maddox, and my five on there. It was a cozy movie night!
