As always, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I put some plastic down on the picnic table. We had it left over from when we put wood floors in at the old house. Yeah, it’s crazy some of the things we just can’t get rid of. I’m glad we still had the plastic this morning. Since I still hadn’t bought large binder clips to hold down table cloths outside, I had the boys pick up some rocks for the corners. Then they all sat down and I put a mound of shaving cream in front of each of them. After some coaxing to just play in it for some of them, they dove in, swirling it around. The rocks were covered with shaving cream.
After they had had enough shaving cream fun. I hosed them off with the water hose. As I cleaned off the deck and plastic, they played and air dried.
If you look closely you can see toys in the yard surrounding the fort. Yes, as one mess is cleaned another is being made!
