On Friday of Mother’s Day weekend I got my yellow roses. Yellow roses are my favorite, so I was very happy to see each one of my kids carrying a yellow rose to me one afternoon. Such a sweet husband to pick those up. The picture I took was not a very good one.
Sunday the kids gave me their school made gifts and the card that dad helped pick out. Caleb had a sweet poem and his hand print made into flower.
Noah had a book to say thank you.
Very sweet boys. Then came the card that was very fitting and made me laugh.
The boys made sure I turned it over to see the backside of the card.
I find it hard to decide what we should do on Mother’s Day, and this year was no different. So, we just did our normal thing. We went to church, then lunch at Freebirds, and shopping. The shopping was for our upcoming trip. John also put on my Facebook page “Happy Mother’s Day from your cool crew” with this picture.
Yes, they are my “cool” crew. They make being a mom, wonderfully exhausting! But I wouldn’t have it any other way!!!
