Fred was first seen the morning of November 28th. He had a arrived with a note from Santa and a Naughty/ Nice checklist.
They were all excited to see Fred, but John and I were a little shocked to see Noah so excited. I guess we had thought as the kids get older Fred might not be too “cool” for them. Noah had talked to Fred about a book he was reading, so the next day we found Fred reading his book.
Fred made his way around the house. This year I wasn’t very good at snapping a picture each day. But here are some of the places we found him.
One night Fred parachuted down the chimney, but I don’t think the boys really understood why or how he did that one. Fred was a little bit more adventurous this year.
When he hid in the garland around the fireplace the boys had a really hard time finding him.
It was when Mimi got really sick, that I lost track of taking pictures of Fred. I did catch a picture when he was found in a plant a friend sent me after Mimi passed away.
The morning we planned to head to John’s dad’s house for Christmas, no one could find Fred. The boys thought they might have to look for him when we got to Papa’s house. Then when they went out to start to pack the car, guess who they found? Fred hung out all the way to Papa’s house. And made a few appearances there before the big day.
This year we didn’t have any close calls. Makaela even helped find him every morning, well at least the mornings when she woke up and he hadn’t been found yet. Until next year Fred.
