Christmas Lights in Marble Falls

We didn’t make it to the lights in College Station, but a few days later everyone was feeling a lot better and we decided to try again.  My mom stayed home since her ankle was still hurting her.  Lauren, John, myself, and the “young” kiddos made the short trip to Marble Falls.

I’m never very good at taking pictures in low lighting, especially Christmas lights.  Or maybe it’s just the camera because Lauren did take over the camera and I didn’t see much a difference.  Oh well, we still got some good ones!

As we were walking we saw a cutout to take a picture with.  At first we didn’t know what it was and asked the kids if they wanted to take a picture.  They got all excited, then we saw it was a mistletoe pose.  We decided to just let John and I take a picture.

We had to take a family picture in front of Santa skiing.  Did I mention that the lights were set up on the shores of Lake Marble Falls?  So of course they had water themed lights.

Aunt Rachel was Eli’s personal chauffer basically the entire trip.

We found another cut out, this time we got one with all my little elves.  Then another with me and my siblings.  Some good looking elves!

Lot’s of Christmas lights, fun, and family time!  And only in Texas would they change the Merry Christmas sign to “Merry Texmas you”.  We definitely are putting this on the list of things to do again!
