Sometimes when I got through my pictures I noticed there are a lot of cute pictures that don’t make the blog. So, here is a post just to share some of those pictures and memories. These are all from January to close out this month of fun!
My little ones. This picture doesn’t happen often. Makaela doesn’t sit and watch TV right now. The hands behind Eli’s head has been a norm for all the boys since they were babies, still is pretty cute when they do it.
My pretty girl. Makaela’s hair seems to bug her when she is sleeping, so every night after her bath we braid it or pull it back.
Mr. Ian. Ian and Caleb went to the dentist this month and got a “prize” for being good. Ian got a mustache and had to have pictures taken of himself. I also put this one on Facebook, because of the shirt. We are hoping that by the time Ian can grow a mustache like that the shirt doesn’t still hold true!
Friday Night Bath! One Friday night we let the boys take baths in our big bath tub. They don’t get to take baths- usually it’s assembly line showers, so they had fun playing around. They even got out their shaving foam and razors. I think we will have to have Friday night baths again!
Caleb did NOT like the foam around his mouth. He was very delicate with his shaving.
Noah was making sure he was doing it correctly. Papa told him when he turns 8 he will have a mustache! I guess he needs to practice more!

Wake UP! We are on the stage where binkies are only used when sleeping and church. Church because this girl will not stop talking and the binkie seems to muffle the sound some. So when she gets up she either hands over the binkie (binkies, if she woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t find the one she already had) or she puts them in her basket herself. This morning I also caught her throwing out Minnie, her baby of choice the night before. Oh and check out the hair!!!
That is why we pull it back! If we didn’t it would all be covering her face!!
My cuties! I have admitted on Facebook, that I’m over little boy cute, but not little girl cute. Poor boys, I’m sure I’ll hear about it when they get older. They still have their moments, but I will say Makaela for now is pretty darn cute! I seem to constantly want to take a picture of her in some outfit, hair-do, or just because. I’m sure I’m creating a monster, but like I said I’m not over little girl cute yet! So, if I take a picture of Makaela and the boys see, they are right there asking for their picture to be taken as well. Eli made sure he gave me his cheesiest grin. Yeah, the boys have their cute moments still!

Cindy Lou Who?! One night I had looked at some Pinterest posts of girls hair do’s. Other than braids and pony tails, I wasn’t remembering many ideas that we used to do with my little sisters. I should say Bridgette and Mary; Rachel was never really happy if you tried to do her hair. The next day I happened to pull out Makaela’s Dr. Seuss shirt and thought of one of the hair styles. So, we tried it out and she was Cindy Lou Who for the day! She and I both were in a good mood and so I was able to get it done without a fight. I try not to fight with her over her hair too much. I keep it simple when she or I don’t have the patience. With her hair like this, the boys thought she looked cute, but funny!!! I think she liked it too!!
Story Time. Makaela LOVES Noah’s new desk. I caught her this time being good and just sitting reading her books. Usually, she is climbing on it or taking stuff off of it she is not supposed to be messing with. I would say she wants her own, but I know if it was in her room she wouldn’t be as interested in it.
Can’t believe January is over, time flies when you are having fun! We had a good start to 2012!
