The basketball goal that we got for the kids has proven to be one of the best Christmas presents this year. The first night we had it put up, they were out there in the cold.
Then it turned into a daily, “Can we go out and play basketball?” Winter is not the best time to get a new outdoor toy. I’ve had to say not today more than I wanted to because of the weather, but when I’ve said yes they are out there as long as they can be. John is even enjoying playing with them. They have set rules though about where John can shoot from to make things “fair”.
There are a few that haven’t really gotten into basketball. So, instead they run around and ride bikes. A line was drawn so they wouldn’t get in the way of the game. I’m sure it won’t be long before Eli is wanting to play and Makaela is bugging them all by riding her bike through the middle of the game.
So, if you come to visit be prepared to play some basketball!
